Easter Morning Breakfast Tablescape

I must admit that reading other people's posts who are residents of the warmer states makes me so excited and full of anticipation for Spring to finally arrive in Wisconsin.  However, if you are at all familiar with the up and down temperatures of Wisconsin, you realize that Spring may not arrive and stay for good until late May.

At this time, our warm spell has turned cooler and I need to gather up a little more patience before I will see blooming buds and green grass.  It is such a pleasure to see pictures from posts of beautiful blooms of lilacs, tulips and daffodils.  For that reason I decided to use the soothing colors of blue, white and yellow for an Easter Morning Breakfast Tablescape to bring Spring indoors.  When there is not much color to see on the outside of the house, I am comforted by the colors I can use to brighten my day in the inside of the house.

Take a peek.....this tablesetting is all set for Easter morning where we can enjoy the basket that was blessed in church full of sausage, eggs, bread, butter and sweets.  This joyous event reassures me that warm sunshine and colors from nature are just around the corner.

It is the true reason why I create tablesettings of all kinds. I am so glad you enjoy the posts and I hope you will become a new follower. I have so many more ideas to share. Come on back and visit often. All the best......Marsha

  5. Hi Marsha, I totally heart you! Can't wait for warmer weather to arrive. Your beautiful tablescape on those soft blue and yellow shades are what my eyes want to see at the moment. Are those paper butterflies on each nest? So cute! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comment!

    1. Hi Cristina, Yes, those are paper butterflies that I made. I thought they would look good in my floral arrangement and I ended up using them every where. I hope you will have warm Spring weather real soon. Unfortunately, Easter in Wisconsin will be cold and rainy. I think everyone in the north wants to see bright colors soon. Have a pleasant Easter weekend.

  6. Very nice table and sweet bunny! In Upstate NY we are waiting for Spring to arrive also. I still have a lot of snow in my yard. We will be going out to Easter brunch since there is just 3 of us. I would love to set a large table for the day someday!

    1. Hi Ann Marie, I will pray that all that snow will melt for you real soon. My heart goes out to those in the north east who suffered with all the snow this year. Usually Wisconsin gets hit hard with snow during some of the winters. We really lucked out this year. Although tomorrow it will be cold and rainy, I can't complain. It makes traveling about easier without the snow even when we get it in Spring. Have a very lovely time at your brunch.

    1. Hi Valerie, Thank you for taking the time to make such a nice comment during this busy Easter holiday. I love all colors and love to work with combining them depending on my plates or an inspiration piece. I am glad I have log walls, otherwise I would be painting my walls all the time with beautiful colors. I especially would love to paint my walls with a very light lemony yellow. Many blessings to you during this Easter holiday.
