A Pretty Poinsettia Tablescape

Merry Christmas and welcome to the Christmas Tablescape Blog Party, the last party of the year hosted by Rita from Panoply. This party begins, Tuesday, December 2, 2025 and includes a variety of designers who have a love for Christmas that is expressed in their tablescape design from elegance and classical to playful and whimsical.  It gives me great pleasure to express my appreciation and gratitude to Rita for hosting these parties throughout the entire year.  I am sure the many readers appreciate it too.  So my heartfelt thank you to all of the readers too who visit and enjoy the fine talents of all of the designers participating in the parties throughout the year.  So enjoy each and every link at the end of this post for tables created with the excitement and spirit of the holidays.

With that said, lets begin with The Little Yellow Corner Store's tablescape, A Pretty Poinsettia Tablescape.  Who can deny that the poinsettia is a symbol of winter and the Christmas holiday.  It's deep red color and lush green leaves truly makes a noticeable statement on any table.  On this table, it is paired with white village buildings and structures painted and sprinkled with iridescent glitter.

Red and green plaid dinnerware and a rich red poinsettia salad plate are a pretty combination.

Who doesn't love photos of churches during a snowy winter day.  The expression of peace and tranquility.

The soft glow of street lamps casts gentle light on the glittering snow below.

The bold red poinsettia which contrasts with the delicate and muted white church and buildings were also the inspiration for the Christmas tree and outside decor.

The gold-trimmed poinsettia ribbon was a lucky find and worked perfectly weaved in between  the giant flowers.

A poinsettia bow for the topper was a simple but complementary choice.

A white poinsettia was used as a topper for the black lantern that was part of the coordinating outside decor.  The lantern housed white buildings in snow like those in the tablescape instead of candles this year in order to carry the tablescape theme with snow and white structures to the outdoors.  There is something so darling and enchanting about lanterns which have a storybook theme inside of them in place of candles.  The little details become a captivating fairytale about a life once lived at Christmas time.

The black lanterns, of course, are replicated in the tablescape centerpiece with the two lit light posts on each side of the church.

The charm of the white village in snow and the red poinsettia recalls all of the endearing memories of Christmas past.  A heartwarming memory and nostalgia which will last forever.  Merry Christmas!!!!

And now, turn on some favorite Christmas music, pour a cup of egg nog and visit each of the blog links below from each of the designers participating in the Christmas Tablescape Blog Hop 2025 for a great beginning of the holiday season.
