So perhaps I can give you a view of my own work and some of the work of others in hope that it might raise some curiosity and interest in attending this fun event about tablescape design. My tablescape is called, Let's Play in the Snow. You might remember some of the pieces, like, for example, the cookie jar, from my own tablescape at home and in my posting, Valentine's Day -- A Day with Snowmen and Hearts. See https://thelittleyellowcornerstore.blogspot.com/2019/02/valentines-day-day-with-snowmen-and.html.
Of course, with this tablescape, I changed up the linens to reflect some of the colors in the adorable art print of a sledding snowman and penguin entitled, Wee Wee Wee. It was selected as an inspiration piece for this whimsical tablescape. The salad plates are from the Debbie Mumm collection called Snowman Portraits. I love all of the bright colors of red, white and cobalt blue and peppermint striped accents.
Now let me include just some of the other tablescapes that are on display at this very creative exhibit.
I hope you enjoyed seeing some but not all of the very creative tablescapes that these designers displayed at the exhibit. There are many more and I encourage anyone who is in the area to come see it for yourself.
As another reminder, be sure to visit with me again at The Little Yellow Corner Store as we prepare and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with more tablescape designs during Chloe Crabtree's Thanksgiving Tablescape Blog Hop 2019 during the week of November 4 - 8, 2019. Until then.....
Wonderful table settings which just make the occasion that much more fun!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely enjoy this exhibit! Especially as I am too far away to visit, I really do appreciate you sharing your wonderful photos with the Hearth and Soul Link Party. I hope your week is going well!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I've seen this idea done with floral arrangements, but never tablescapes. I'm impressed. Will share this idea with the museums here.
