Valentine's Day - A Look of Year's Past

Now that the Christmas holiday is over and all of the decorations are put away, it is that time of year when we begin to give some thought to the warm weather season ahead and, in February, the warm fuzzy feelings of Valentine's Day when love is in the air.  For those of us in northeast Wisconsin who are dealing with the intense cold and the heavy snow accumulations, planning a tender and intimate moment is essential to warming up the soul while the snow storm rages outside.

To spark some excitement, I love to add a different twist to various holidays and celebrations, including Valentine's Day.  I thought you might like to revisit some Valentine's Day tablescapes of year's past. Below are some of my previous Valentine's Day celebration tables from the past four years.  Some tablescapes are more whimsical than others, but, nonetheless, they all speak of festive joy and romance.

Lastly, I would like to invite you all to the upcoming Valentine's Day 2019 Blog Hop hosted by Chloe Crabtree from Celebrate and Decorate and other designers who will be displaying their Valentine's Day tablescapes starting Monday, February 4, 2019 to Friday, February 8, 2019.  I will also be participating with yet another playful Valentine's Day tablescape.   Don't miss it.  You will be amazed at all of the creativity.

Such crazy fun!

  1. I’m squealing with delight over those polka dot plates! ❤️ They’re adorable, but of course I’m a sucker for anything with polka dots.

  2. Thank you Doreen. Polka dots and tartan plaid are both the love of my life. I love to mix patterns too. I hope things are going well for you and your family. Happy Valentine's Day, dear friend. May it be a fun and memorable one.xoxox
