Welcome......I am so glad you can courageously join me this week for a Halloween celebration. Although I do not live in a haunted house, I do invite you to my bone-chilling and hair-raising Halloween tablescape done up in gruesome black and red. A bit of spooky elegance, don't you think? This ghastly tablescape is one of several Halloween tablescapes participating in this week's Halloween Tablescape Blog Hop organized by Ms. Chloe Crabtree of Celebrate and Decorate. Be sure to visit all of the other bloggers and their ghostly creations starting Monday, October 22 through Friday, October 26, 2018. The links are provided below. Get ready for a frightfully good time.
So beware......you never know who the other guests will be at this suspenseful black and red tablescape. You may be surprised not only with the vampires, zombies and other guests attending, but that also the design creation of this wicked and ghoulish tablescape was a combination of Christmas, Valentines and Halloween decor.
I hope you enjoyed this eerie, oh, I mean exquisite Halloween tablescape. Happy Halloween....

I love how your Christmas and Valentine's Day decor collided with Halloween for your spooky and elegant table! So many wonderful details from the harlequin plates, skeletal servers, jars with bats and spider straws. It's always spooky fun to blog hop with you!
ReplyDeleteFantastic job! Love each detail. The red and black make a elegant statement and I love the harlequin plates. I zoomed in on those immediately! The bats on the straws are the cutest idea!
ReplyDeleteA great gothic tablescape. Ive never done red for Halloween --- great idea to pull from Christmas and Valentines Day to create that look! My favorite part is the addition of the red candy apples (poison?), I'm just dying to bite into one!
ReplyDeleteThe red with black makes a truly eerie and dramatic scene! My favorite element is the red candy apples with spiders, very creepy! You are so clever to use things you already have from other holidays. Happy Halloween!

ReplyDeleteLove your choice of colors. The red and black is so dramatic! Just down my alley. Love your attention to detail. The jars look wonderful with bats. Candy apples are a nice addition, Re-using holiday things is so creative and saves on buying more things. Loving the harlequin plates and the black and white straws. A pleasure joining you on this wonderful Halloween challenge.
ReplyDeleteMarsha I adore your red and black tablescape. You have just the right amount of spooky and glam. I love candy applees but would be a bit hesitant on taking one since the spiders have obviously taken a liking to them too. all the roses are perfect for the Holiday...and I especially love the filled pastries. YUUM Great job yet again.

ReplyDeleteMarsha, love thos harlequin plates and the candles with lace. Your food looks fabulous all together with all the elements you pulled into this tablescape too!
ReplyDeleteThat red and black tablecloth with the spiders and webs is absolutely creepy! Red and black are a nice alternative to the orange and black for the holiday. Those salad plates are equally a statement! Those apples wouldn't be poison would they?! Thanks for joining in another hop! Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteThis table definitely has the feel of being in a dining room in an old haunted Victorian home! I love the red and black together. I love the red candy apples and black spiders on the harlequin plates are perfect for your haunted celebration!
