Thinking Spring Tablescape

With most of winter behind us and the month of March's welcomed arrival, are you thinking of and planning for a flower garden which showcases a rainbow of colors and emits an array of pleasant, delicate fragrances?  Warm sunshine and the excitement of blossoming buds is an anticipated moment for all.  The return of soft Spring rains brings the scent of moistened soil and quick germination to everything which grows.   With each deep breath that fills one's lungs, there is a greater sense of renewed exhilaration.  Spring has finally arrived!

For this long awaited occasion, The Little Yellow Corner Store has designed a pastel, peach-colored Spring tablescape, which is one among other designer's tablescapes, in the Spring Tablescape Blog Hop organized this week starting Tuesday, March 3, 2020 by Chloe Crabtree of Celebrate and Decorate. The list of designers participating in the hop is at the end of this article. Please be sure to visit them all at your leisure for exquisite ideas for Spring table decorating and the upcoming Easter holiday.  It gives us all an opportunity to celebrate the change of season to Spring and rejoice in all of nature's flourishing beauty.

A one-word reminder of what Spring is all about is written on each colorful plate.

A sampling of greenery, petite flowers and baby breath gives a subtle hint of Spring to the table.

Buffalo checkered placemats and napkins in a soft peach color enhances the bolder colors in the tablecloth's floral pattern.  The tea pot napkin rings reminds us that the herb bed will soon provide us with delicious herbs for a blend of flavorful teas.

A cracked egg shell makes a cute holder for a tea light candle.

Let's raise a glass of raspberry lemon spritzer and make a toast of appreciation to everything that Spring stands for.
